At Morningside Baptist, we believe prayer is essential to the life of the church and the heart of every believer. God invites us to seek Him, trust Him, and call on Him in every circumstance — and we want to be faithful in answering that call together.
Here are just a few of the many verses that remind us of the power and priority of prayer:
Matthew 7:7–8 – “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
Matthew 21:22 – “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”

Submit a Prayer Request
We would be honored to pray for you. You can submit a request in any of the following ways:
• Write in the Prayer Book located near the entry doors (you may include your name or remain anonymous)
• Email your request to office@morningsidebaptist.us, and it will be shared with our prayer chain
• Use the Prayer Wall in the MBC app, where you can submit requests and also read and pray for others throughout the week
